As part of Silvia Loeffler’s Transit Gateway project, I spoke about sexuality and disease in early twentieth century Dublin. This was part of a set of talks on Dublin 1898-1929/Turbulent Times. The lecture is online here (it starts about 14 minutes in after Silvia’s introduction to this stage of her project). Silvia is creating an installation around a series of art-maps that re-imagine the development of the port. The next public viewing of the installation is on Saturday 30 September 2017 at Terminal 1 in Dublin Port.
